Site visit 19 Jan 2012



Mid January and blue skies. We've been very lucky with the weather.


New welsh bangor blue slates have arrived and tilers are sorting them into various thicknesses.
We have set up a time delay camera, so with luck we can see the roof going on at our next site visit -

Kitchen window looking better. Has new reinforced lintels and reclaimed sandstone cill. All cills came from a Fermanagh based salvage yard. -


Lounge getting ready for floor joist to go in. I was shown an example of the stop chamfer I requested on the lower exposed edges -

Roofing timbers and felt are on the main farmhouse roof. The gable walls have been rebuilt and chimney linners inserted.
